Job Vacancy at Women’s Community Matters

Women’s Community Matters offers women specific services with care, compassion, kindness and love. We are based in Barrow-in-Furness and offer services to women aged 14 and over in the Barrow and wider Furness area.

We are looking to recruit a skilled professional to expand and develop the range of opportunities available to women at our Centre. The post involves working with women and families who have, or are, experiencing domestic violence/abuse, particularly around accommodation. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team including staff at Barrow Borough Council Housing department.

 

Job title: Project Worker: Women’s Support
Working hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £19,500
Closing date for applications: 5pm on 17th October 2017
Interview date: Friday 3rd November 2017
Anticipated start date: 1st December 2017
